Update on Car Build #1

The above picture is of our car with thin grip tires on the front and foam tires on the rear.
The above picture is of our car with rear foam tires and rubber slicks on the front.
The above picture shows our new 3.5:1 gear ratio. Prior to this modification, which as of this post is untested, our ratio has been 4:1.

Build Day 2

We ran 2 runs today. The first with the standard kit running 4WD. Our speed was 10.29 km/h. Next, we ran the standard kit in FWD. The speed then was 10.28 km/h. I still think that 4WD will achieve the greatest speed. For next class, we have mounted two metal rollers on the front to better guide the car as well as racing slick tires. We also made a return to 4WD. Next class, we will test out this modified build.
